Feb 1, 2024 · I am finding they have made changes to their login process at some point in January which make things a lot more hassle. My wife and I would both use the same computer to check online banking (both Santander C/A), she doesn't have the Santander App on her phone either. We use Chrome browser and have the AdNauseam plugin to block ads.

Mar 2, 2024 · Santander is my main account and I usually log in daily. Most times I use the app (old version usually but sometimes also the new). Occasionally, I have to use online banking, e.g. to change an SO. I use Chrome for online banking, and the app is on iPhone. I can’t recall any login or other usability issues.

Jul 27, 2022 · If the email simply ask to log in into your online banking (without following a link from said email) then it would be different. But as per the screenshots attached to my response, Santander does tell you what to look for.
